How to Make Your Own Almond Milk
Ingredients: (Makes a medium size jar)
1 c raw almonds
Water for soaking nuts
3 c water
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of Celtic sea salt
1/2 tsp natural vanilla extract
Other items needed: Nut mesh bag, or cheese cloth
1. Soak almonds in water overnight for at least six hours.
2. Drain water from almonds and discard. Blend almonds with other ingredients until smooth in a high speed blender.
3. Strain mixture using a fine mesh bag, or cheese cloth. Squeeze bag until most of the liquid passes through.
4.Keep almond milk refrigerated for 3-4 days.
